Strategic marketing provides an overview, a macro view of marketing as it is designed to support and strengthen the marketing that you already have in place. By having clear objectives and goals, you will be able to gauge what tactics are working and what tactics are not.
1. Must plan for anything that may happen, whether it’s good or bad. Having a contigent plan is a common issue that many business owners overlook
2. Don’t try to saturate other markets. Stick with what you know unless you have the resources available
